A Holy Herb for Women?

Today, many women are suffering from estrogen dominance syndrome, such as PMS (Premenstrual syndromes), and weight gain because our environment is loaded with environmental estrogens such as petroleum products, pesticides, fungicides, plastics, chemical solvents, perfumes, and other pollutants, they are labeled xenohormones or foreign estrogens that occupy the hormone receptors in our body and lead to estrogen dominance syndrome and also increase the risk of productive organ related cancers, such as breast cancer, cervical cancer, and ovarian cancer, etc. These toxins also saturate your liver and blog your lymphatic system, which leads to weight gain. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, weight gain is the result of waste and toxins being built up in your body especially your lymphatic system, so the fluids and Qi (energy) are not able to move freely in your body, this can cause a vicious cycle, the more toxins are built up in your body, the more weight you put on and the cycle goes on. In order to protect your reproductive system and prevent weight gain, DETOX through a clean diet is first and a must. Once you have detoxified your liver and your lymphatic system thoroughly, you can choose certain herbs to speed up the recovery.

Why Should You Eat Ginger in Summer?

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Yang energy is rising in summer, this is the best time to release old health issues and energetic blockages in your body. Ginger helps boost Yang energy in your body and supports the body to release old health issues and promotes healing. If you follow the biological clock in the body throughout the day, the Yang energy is rising in the morning, peaks at noon, and starts to fall in the evening, then the Yan energy starts to rise in the evening and peaks at night. This is how Yin and Yang energy dance with each other and balance each other, so the best time to eat ginger is in the morning when the Yang energy is rising.

There is an old Chinese saying, “If you eat lobok in winter and ginger in summer, you will stay away from the prescriptions of your doctor.” From this, you can see the amazing healing power of ginger. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), ginger is called small ginseng. Have you ever noticed that your body starts to feel warm after eating ginger? Why is that? It is not just because ginger is spicy. This is because it speeds up the blood circulation in your body. There are many amazing healing benefits of ginger that you may not aware of, let’s explore some of them today.

1.     Treats mouth ulcers or canker sores

Rinse your mouth with hot ginger water two to three times a day. In general, the ulcer starts to heal in 2-3 days. Ginger can also treat periodontitis; you can gargle with warm ginger water in the morning and evening. If your throat is sore and itchy, you can add a pinch of sea salt in your warm ginger water and drink it two to three times a day.

2.     Relieves headaches/migraines

When a migraine attack occurs, you can soak your hands in hot ginger water for about fifteen minutes, and you can feel that your migraine is relieved or even disappeared after this.

3.     Reduces lower back pain and shoulder pain

Add a small amount of salt and vinegar to the hot ginger water, then soak a towel in the hot ginger water and wring it out. Apply the warm towel to the affected area until it is getting cold, apply this several times a day and it can greatly relieve shoulder/neck pain and lower back pain.

The Hidden Secrets Behind Borax

Borax, also known as sodium borate, sodium tetraborate, or disodium tetraborate, is an important boron compound, a mineral, and a salt of boric acid. It is a natural mineral that is found in arid regions such as the southwestern United States, the Atacama desert in Chile, Bolivia, Tibet, and Romania.  The mineral is made up of sodium, oxygen, and boron that create the compound called Sodium Tetraborate (Na2B4O7 • 10H2O). Borax gets its name from elements that make up the compound, which is boron and oxygen, it also contains sodium and water. Borax has been used as a remedy for over 4000 years.

Borax is made of white crystals that dissolve in water. Borax helps alkalize the body, it also helps reduce pain. Some believe that borax helps lubricate the joints, which relieves arthritis. Borax also neutralizes the fluoride that is added to tap water. Fluoride not only causes bones to deteriorate but also causes the pineal gland to calcify and the thyroid to become underactive. Borax reacts with fluoride ions to form boron fluorides that are excreted in the urine.

Boron is the key element in borax, it is a trace mineral that is essential for healthy bone and joint function. It regulates the absorption and metabolism of calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus through its influence on the parathyroid glands. Researches have shown that the soil depleted with boron is associated with increased arthritis. Places with limited boron in the soil include Brazil, Japan, and most of the United States in the world due to high levels of rainfall that leaches boron out of the soil.

Boron also affects the metabolism of steroid hormones especially sex hormones. It increases low testosterone levels in men and estrogen levels in menopausal women. It also has a role in converting vitamin D to its active form, which increases calcium absorption and deposition into bone and teeth and prevents soft tissue to calcify, including the pineal gland.

Boron deficiency can cause the increased loss of calcium and magnesium in the urine. Researchers have suggested that boron deficiency may be one of the most important factors that contribute to osteoporosis and tooth decay. With boron deficiency too much calcium moves into the cell while magnesium cannot move inside to displace it.
