Anxiety disorders cost the U.S. more than $42 billion a year, almost one-third of the country's total mental health bill, according to "The Economic Burden of Anxiety Disorders".

Here is another interesting fact; it is quite common for someone with an anxiety disorder to also suffer from depression or vice versa. In fact, nearly one-half of those diagnosed with depression are also diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. The constant state of stress can lead to clinical depression, which many the link between anxiety and depression. Anxiety can cause a person to lose appetite and lack of interest in sex. Those with an anxiety issue may also experience muscle tension, headaches, increased blood pressure, and insomnia as well.

Anxiety has been commonly treated with anti-psychotic drugs currently. As we all know that most anti-psychotic drugs have many negative side effects, one of them is significant weight gain. Let alone the toxicities and damage to your organs including the liver and kidneys. So what is the root cause of anxiety?
