How to Make Your FREE Healing Balm?

Dandelions are full of treasure, including flowers, leaves, stems, and roots. The most medicinal part is the root. Dandelion greens are delicious in your salads. Dandelion flowers make excellent healing teas. The bitterness in dandelion helps squeeze the liver to purge accumulated toxins out of the liver. Dandelion flowers help cleanse digestive tracts, lungs, uterus, and heart. Phytochemicals in dandelion leaves purify the blood and lymphatic system, which help relieve lymphoma, swollen lymph nodes, and edema. The dandelion herb also enhances your digestion and relieves stomach discomfort and acid reflux.

Daisy flower can help treat arthritis, colds and coughs, indigestion, and upset stomach. Daisy has become increasingly popular as an ingredient in skincare products, it can help brighten your skin, and reduce dark spots and wrinkles. Because of its natural antibacterial properties, the daisy flower is extremely effective in wound healing and treating bruised and damaged skin, they are also used as a mouthwash or gargle to aid sore throat and canker sores in the mouth. The Daisy flower possesses diuretic, digestive, and laxative properties. Daisy balm is a good remedy for inflamed joints and wounds. Daisy ointment relieves muscle pain and rheumatism. Daisy Tea: In a cup of boiled water, add 1-2 tablespoons of dried daisy flowers. Leave it until 15 minutes and enjoy.

Tincture: macerate 30 grams of the leaves for about 10 days with a minimum of 40% of alcohol. Shake it occasionally and keep it in a dark place. Take it as needed.

Juice and smoothie: add them to your fresh leafy green juices or smoothies.

Here are tips on how to make your daisy healing balm for wound healing, muscle pain, or arthritis.

  1. Place a handful or two of dried daisy flowers in a dry and clean jar.
  2. Cover the herbs with oil, such as olive oil, or almond oil, any carrier oil will work. 
  3. Seal the jar and keep it in a dark place for a couple of weeks, shake it regularly.
  4. Strain the mixture with cheesecloth, and make sure that you squeeze every bit of oil out of the herbs.
  5. Combine the oil and beeswax in a double boiler. The basic ratio of oil to beeswax is 2 tablespoons of beeswax for each 1/4 cup of oil. If you prefer a creamier balm, add more oil, if you prefer a more solid palm, add more beeswax.
  6. Melt the oil and beeswax together over low heat. When the beeswax is completely melted, stir and pour the mixture into a clean jar or container. Add a few drops of essential oils of your favorite to enhance its potency.
  7. Let your daisy balm cool and harden, and apply it to your skin as needed. 

You can do the same thing with dandelion flowers, just make sure that you prevent the mold during the process. How Can Your Beliefs Affect Your Weight?

Being overweight is an underlining cause of diabetes, cancers, heart disease, and other chronic conditions. What else comes along with excessive weight? Back pain and joint pain, your body just cannot handle too much pressure from excessive weight. Besides health challenges, our body image also affects our self-esteem. I am creating a weight loss mini-course series to target different areas for weight loss challenges and develop a holistic approach from diet and nutrition, alternative medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and energy medicine to achieve long-lasting weight loss success.

When it comes to weight loss, the first thing people jumped into is the diet because this is the area being attacked the most. The most popular weight loss diet out there these days is the ketogenic diet, which is a high-fat, moderate protein, and low carbohydrate diet. The mechanism for this diet is to cut down the intake of carbohydrates and force the body to enter a metabolic state called ketosis, which uses the alternative fuel – the fat instead of glucose as the energy source, but some organs use glucose as the primary fuel, such as your brain, so your brain is deprived of the optimal fuel, also most pesticides and herbicides are fat-soluble, they deposit in meat and dairy products, by eating large amounts of these foods, your liver is overloaded with toxins, so as your kidneys and lymphatic system. Did you know that protein produces the most waste when it is broken down in the body?  As a result, you are putting stress on your liver, lymphatic system, and kidneys to break down and eliminate toxins including environmental estrogens from pesticides and herbicides, and other toxins such as drugs and growth hormones in the meat and dairy products. Recently, a lady asked me why she is suffering from severe menopause symptoms such as hot flushes and night sweats after she is on the ketogenic diet, my answer is that this diet brings more toxins and waste to the body and contributes to hormone imbalance such as estrogen dominance syndrome, it also affects your gut health because these toxins and waste feed off unproductive bacteria in your gut and cause off-balance of the gut microbiome. What happens in your gut also affects your brain functions because the communication between the gut and brain is bilateral, and your gut is your second brain. A ketogenic diet is also loaded with acidic food, which leads to chronic inflammation and many health challenges down the road, as we know that alkalinity of the body is the key to achieving optimal health, which emphasizes a plant-based diet with legumes, fresh fruits, and vegetables.  

Every time you are on a diet, they all work the same: to create the calorie deficit to lose weight, but your body is very intelligent, more intelligent than you think, it has a self-protection mechanism to preserve your life force, after you are on a calorie deficit diet, your body enters a starvation mode and burns fewer calories to maintain functioning, just like a bear hibernating in winter, After you go back to your normal diet, your body is still in a starvation mode, which means your body is still hibernating, as a result, any extra calories you take will be quickly converted to the fat and stored in your body, this causes a vicious cycle called yo-yo-dieting, each time you try a diet, you end up gaining more weight and your metabolism is getting slower. Several studies indicate that dieting is a very good indicator of future weight gain.

What Can Potatoes Do to Your Health?

Last week, my middle finger was swollen like a carrot due to the infection from the fingernail, I cut it too short. I ignored it for a few days, but my middle finger was keeping growing horizontally and was painful, so I decided to put a potato poultice on it and the healing result was amazing!

Potatoes may have had bad names in the past, they are actually an amazing healing food. Now, it is time to reclaim them. Potatoes are gluten-free, they fill you up quickly, and are easy to prepare. One thing to keep in mind is that potatoes are one of the most contaminated foods with pesticides, it is so easy and cheap to grow your own. Spring is here, and it is a great time to start. Potatoes don’t need lots of care from you but return much more back to you. As we know that all the plants have consciousness just like us. When you grow your own food, the love and care you put into the food you grow will return to you with the most nurturing nutrients for your body because the food you grow can read your unique energy field and synchronize it. In the end, they return the love and care back to you with much more.

Potatoes are brain food, and the most optimal fuel for your brain is high-quality glucose and oxygen. Potatoes not only provide high-quality glucose for your brain, but they are also loaded with nutrients and antioxidants such as flavonoids, carotenoids, and phenolic acids that suppress the growth of cancer cells in the liver and colon and reduce the risks of heart disease. Potatoes also contain resistant starch that can help stabilize blood sugar. They are one of the best foods for those who suffer from digestive issues such as food sensitivity, gut issues, and poor digestion, they go through your digestive tract smoothly without irritating your intestine lining. They heal cuts or bites that have become infected, particularly infections around or beneath the nails. Potato poultices are a great remedy for wound healing, minor skin irritations or cuts, abscesses, infections, and swelling. How to make a potato poultice? peel and shred some organic potato pulp, fold cheesecloth over twice to create a pack and place the pulp in the center, place the pack on the affected area and wrap with a piece of plastic to prevent leaking, you will also need a cloth or bandage to hold it in place. The amount of pulp you need depends on the treatment area. You can keep the potato poultice on your skin for a couple of hours or overnight and replace it with fresh potato pulp daily until the skin is healed. It can heal your skin quickly without drug intervention, it is simple and effective.
