Wisdom v.s Technology - What Do You Think?

Today, we live in such a modern society that emphasizes the technology and materialism. We live in a fast-paced world that puts increase stress on our health. It seems that we are shifting to the world that ancient wisdom has been drifting away from us, and we are facing more health issues such as obesity, cancers and other chronic conditions compared to our ancestors.

To me, knowledge is wisdom and wisdom is power. Optimal health can only be achieved by uniting the body, mind, and the spirit. That is the reason I have been fascinated about Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for so many years, because it teaches you how to live a life of balance, wellness, and harmony.

In order to increase the awareness of this ancient wisdom, I created a video that reveals the true essence of TCM, which highlights the following:

  • ·         How our body works as a part of the whole universe based on the Five Element Theory from TCM.
  • ·         What is the true essence of Yin and Yang balance and how to use it to improve your health.
  • ·         How to flow beautifully in four natural seasons to maximize your energy and boost your immunity.
  • ·         How to work with different meridian systems around the clock throughout the day to take care of each part of your body easily.
  •        How to benefit from ancient techniques such as moxibustion and cupping to take care of your health at home.
  • ·         And much more…

The Shocking Link Between the Bladder Infection and Hormone Imbalance

Most women suffer from a UTI (urinary tract infection) at least once in their lifetime. The experience is certainly unpleasant and painful. What is the difference between the bladder infection and UTI? A bladder infection is a bacterial infection within the bladder. UTI refers to a bacterial infection anywhere in the urinary tract, such as the bladder, kidneys, ureters, or the urethra. If a UTI is not treated promptly, it can lead to the kidney infection, which is a pretty serious medical condition.

When it comes to the causes of UTIs, bacterial infection is the main target to be blamed. But if you suffer from frequent UTIs, you should look beyond the bacterial infection.

So what is the root cause of frequent UTIs for women especially when they are just entering the menopause period?  UTIs also seem common among post-menopausal women, why is this?

If you suffer from frequent UTIs, antibiotics are certainly not going to resolve the problem, they only treat the symptoms. How to treat UTIs naturally and effectively?

PS check our blog to find out more shocking truth behind UTIs.

Are You Ready for the Shift?

Have you ever thought why menopause and post menopause women are getting more frequent UTIs these days?  What is the real cause of UTI for women in this situation and how to treat it naturally? Here are my suggestions:

1.      Hormone issue is the root cause. There are some hormone receptors in the bladder and they were turned off due to hormone imbalance especially with estrogen dominance syndrome. Today our environment is loaded with environmental estrogens such as petroleum based solvents and plastics. Estrogen dominance is becoming prevalent among women. When these receptors are turned off, they affect the acidic environment in the bladder, so it becomes less acidic, which promotes the growth of bacteria E.coli and causes UTIs. Can antibiotics treat this permanently? The answer is NO.

2.      In terms of the diet, cut down bakery goods and sweets in the diet, because carbohydrates break down is sugar and sugar feeds the bacteria.

3.      There are some wonderful herbs such as dandelion that can be used both internally and externally by boiling it in the water to wash the infected area.

4.      Combine cranberry supplements and probiotics together and take them daily. In order to make it effective, the dosage makes the difference. Cranberries promote a healthy environment for the urinary tract, while probiotics increase the beneficial bacteria in the gut that fight against pathogens.

What Can Your Body's Biological Clock Do to Your Health?

Before we get into the biological clock of the body, I like you to imagine that our body is like a manufactory, there are many production lines passing through the body. These production lines for energy are called meridian channels in our body according to the Traditional Chinese Medicine. These production lines carry the energy to supply the blood and nutrients throughout the body. They form the web just like a network and interact with one another smoothly just like the cars running on the highways, any traffic jam or accident will stop the traffic, in another word; it can cause energetic blockages in the body, which is defined as illnesses according to the Traditional Chinese Medicine. In order to prevent the traffic jam, the brain - the headquarter has to design a sophisticated timeline for each part of the body to follow.

The idea of a biological clock in the body may sound like a metaphor, but there is actually a very distinct brain region that is functioning as a watcher for a time. It is an area called the suprachiasmatic nucleus (or SCN), located right above the point in the brain where the optic nerve fibers cross.

Just like the natural cycle of plants, our body also follows a natural cycle throughout the day. Our ancestors studied this biological clock in our body thousands of years ago and laid out strategic plans to boost our health and vitality by working with this internal clock.

Today we begin to understand more about how the internal organs interact with one another and follow a certain pattern to perform multiple functions systemically, such as producing certain hormones and adjusting the body temperature.
