Your Health Starts from Your Feet

Have you ever thought about the connection between your feet and your health? From reflexology, your feet function as a map to reflect your internal organs just like your hands. From Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), there are many important meridians running through your feet, such as the kidney meridian, stomach meridian, spleen meridian, and liver meridian, etc. Therefore, taking good care of your feet can supercharge your health and eliminate certain health issues. In this blog, I am going to share a few tips that are easy to follow to boost your health and enhance your longevity.

According to the theory of holographic positioning from TCM, the heel is also closely related to the brain. Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners believe that most strokes are caused by the imbalance of Yin and Yang energy flow in the body.  Unbalanced Yang energy rushes upward and concentrates in the brain, which overstimulates the central nervous system and leads to seizures and unconsciousness.

Taking good care of your feet can boost your health easily and quickly, here is HOW.

How to Stop Annoying Nocturia and Tinnitus Easily and Quickly?

Nocturia means excessive urination at night time and tinnitus means ringing in the ears. If you wake up more than one time each night to go to the bathroom, you may have nocturia. A person with tinnitus often hears "ringing in the ears," but they may also hear hissing, clicking, or whistling sounds. It can be chronic and persistent, and it usually occurs after the age of 50 years. Certain medications can cause or worsen tinnitus, for example, aspirin, particularly in large doses.

Both of these conditions can affect your sleep quality and they are common issues as we are aging. Interestingly enough, there is a link between nocturia and ear ringing.

According to ancient Chinese Medicine, frequent urination at nigh time is linked to the weak Qi (energy) in the kidney meridian. The kidney is a power center of our life force – Prana. Therefore, weak Qi (energy) in the kidney meridian is linked to aging. This is why nocturia is commonly seen in the seniors.

You may not know that the energy in the kidney meridian opens in the ears, so ear ringing is also associated with weakened Qi (energy) in the kidney meridian. This is not a co-incidence.

Both issues are related to the aging process and Qi (energy) deficiency in the kidney meridian. I introduced a few simple self-care tips to fix these annoying issues easily in this video.

Stop Coughing NOW with These Simple Tricks

You may wonder why people suffer from coughing more often in the fall and winter. A cough is a reflex action to clear your airways of mucus and irritants. A "dry cough" can be tickly and doesn't produce any phlegm (thick mucus). A"chesty cough" means phlegm is produced to help clear your airways. Let’s go back to the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). According to TCM, the energy is peaking in the lungs in autumn. As a result, those who have a history of asthma or bronchitis may experience more coughing than others during this season.

If you jump to antibiotics too quickly, they won’t help much. Unnecessary use of an antibiotic exposes you to the risks of an allergic reaction and antibiotic resistance and side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rashes, and yeast infections. In this content, you are going to find some simple tricks that will calm your coughs quickly and easily, which go back to the food remedies again.
According to TCM, there are a few types of coughs. One type is due to too much heat in your lungs. This type of cough usually combines with a sore throat, dry cough, constipation or even a fever.
Another type of cough is due to some chronic health conditions such as emphysema and chronic bronchitis. This type of cough has frequent flare-ups due to the weak Qi (energy) in the lungs.
The most common type of cough is triggered by a cold or flu during the cold season.
